Nordic Journal of Modern Language Methodology

Nordic Open Access Journal of Modern Language Methodology is an international journal targeting teachers, scholars, teacher trainers and student teachers as its readership. It has two sections. Section A will contain peer-reviewed articles that address the theoretical and methodological debates within the field; section B seeks contributions from teachers, teacher trainers and students about hands-on experiences in the classroom. Articles may be in English, French, German, Norwegian and Spanish.

Our journal has been given the following ISSN - 1894-2245 for the title: Nordic Journal of Modern Language Methodology (online). This ISSN can be used from now on. We are also now officially a level 1 academic journal.

Continuous publications

 

Now open for submissions!

We are very pleased indeed to announce that our open-access, peer-reviewed online journal, Nordic Journal of Modern Language Methodology (launched in 2012) is now open for Continuous publication. We will no longer have fixed publication dates/months, but will collect articles and publish the journal when we have a sufficient number of articles for both sections. Articles may be submitted via our online submission system at:

Ways of teaching modern languages as second or additional languages are changing due to new 
domains of interaction, new technologies, and new global cultures. The journal seeks to provide an innovative forum to present research that addresses the challenges and opportunities provided to teachers and learners by digital media and also present other innovative classroom practices in the various disciplines such as linguistics, literature and culture.
