Nordic Open Access Journal of Modern Language Methodology is an international journal targeting teachers, scholars, teacher trainers and student teachers as its readership. It has two sections. Section A will contain peer-reviewed articles that address the theoretical and methodological debates within the field; section B seeks contributions from teachers and teacher trainers about hands-on experiences in the classroom. Articles may be in English, French, German, Norwegian and Spanish.

1st Nordic Journal of Modern Language Methodology Conference University of Agder, Kristiansand, Norway 20th - 21st September 2012
Call for Papers Forum for Modern Language Methodology at the University of Agder invites researchers, teachers, teacher trainers, students and research fellows of modern language methodology and modern languages to a conference at Campus Kristiansand in connection with the launching of the first issue of our new online journal Nordic Journal of Modern Language Methodology. Proposals for 30-minute papers are welcome on any topic related to the teaching and learning of English, French, German, Spanish or other modern languages. Conference languages are Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and English. Abstracts of maximum 200 words should be mailed to the conference committee to Signe Mari Wiland signemari.wiland@uia.no and by 1 June 2012. Registration should be sent to Karin Beth Lee Hansen karin.b.hansen@uia.no by 20 August 2012. Participants without papers are more than welcome to attend the conference.
